Merrell makes a splash

Merrell has developed a superb range of highly innovative footwear for women which incorporates state-of-the-art technologies for Spring/Summer 2008. The brand believes in continuously expanding the outdoor journey of discovery and freedom and this is the backbone mantra for all the models in this exciting design driven summer collection. Merrell strives to inspire the outdoor athlete in all women and encourage them to get outside at every opportunity!

Highlights include the Chameleon Arc Web Sport which is designed specifically for women and as with all the women’s footwear incorporates Merrell’s patented Q-Form technology. This model with its new modern profile bridges the gap between multi-sport and hiking and with its slip lasted construction and highly breathable upper is also perfect for warmer climates and water sports.

An extremely popular sandal highlight is the Waterpro Merced which has also been designed exclusively for women. This sandal incorporates ventilated uppers with drainage ports – perfect for water sports or wading up rivers – and aqua specific free-flow multi-compound non marking vibram soles. The Waterpro Maipo also has ventilated uppers with drainage ports and the same sole as the Merced. They are high function footwear designed for being in and out of still, moving or wild water and will still look as good on the street as they do in the rinse cycle!

These are just three of the models from Merrell’s innovative and truly inspirational footwear range for spring / summer 08. All of the products along with Merrell activity programmes and other news plus great outdoor images and blogs can be viewed on: -
