Update for Charity Trekkers

The charity trekking season is with us again! and as usual people are trying to beg, steal and borrow as much equipment as they can to keep down the costs for their chosen trek.
As someone who has recently done the three peaks in Tanzania, raising money for Children in Crisis, I am well aware of what is needed to take part in such events and have therefore recently added a couple of new products and events to our website for this year to help ease the pain for your planning and preparation.
Our trek training days have been designed to help the individual take all of the guess work out of those sometimes confusing kit lists, how to pack your rucksacks and duffles properly and to overall get a hands on the kit that they may never have seen before, afterall not everyone has used a walking pole or inflated a therma rest mat. All of that is enhanced with a good 6 1/2 hour walk to really get those boots worn in and test the feet for durablility, if you can`t do our walk then you will struggle up Kili, Everest Base Camp or even the Inca Trail.
Other equipment that we have decided might help is the solar powered charger for those important little items like the morale boosting i-pods, the priceless digital camera and if you really what to keep in touch with home, the faithful mobile.
As part of our 5th year celebrations, we will be part funding a trek up Toubkal in November, more information to follow.
