For example, the importance of teamwork: if a team does not co-operate or work together, and that means everyone on board, the time spent together will be unpleasant and tasks will be inefficiently carried out. This can be applied to real life. read more »

Jemima Lipton - My Outward Bound story

A few years ago I was terrified of new situations.

My ability to have confidence around strangers was non-existent. On the other hand I was bored. There are only so many Saturdays you can sit in Starbucks before the novelty of a cappuccino in a red cup wears off and the only way to overcome this was to meet new people and do new things. read more »

Eurasia Pedibus Calcantibus - Number 16

When between you and the Ukraine there are the Danube and Moldova, you cannot easily cross the border.

When I reached Tulcea (Romania) I discovered that the only chance I have to get from here to the Ukraine is a ferryboat, and it costs 400 euro! and we like walking and travelling cheap. read more »

Eurasia Pedibus Calcantibus - Number 8

"Salut"! Forgive my long silence, but I was in... testing. I better explain. Everyone of you knows about my misadventure with Rocinante and about the substitution with a normal backpack. Unfortunately this new way of travelling immediately reveals itself intolerable, so I thought a solution that could have been definitive, at least till the first border. But it wasn't. read more »
