Merrell Stride Jacket Polartec - Product Tested

Merrell stride jacket

Here at BackatBaseCamp.com, we decided we'd test the Stride Jacket made for Women. Here is what Merrell say about it:

'Merrell have the Stride jacket which is made from warm light Polartec Thermal Pro fleece and is super-comfy. It can be worn as an outer or under a light shell if the conditions are really bad. The Stride looks as good as it feels and is available in three contemporary colourways'.

The product was put to the test over the month of December in minus temperature weather conditions (down to -3), 60mph winds and freezing fog. Despite the various combinations of weather, the stride jacket performed beautifully. It holds the heat in very well and the wind out. The material is soft and easy to wear. Its lightweight and well manufactured. The small details such as the very smooth running zip and zipable pockets give the jacket that little extra that you'd expect from Merrell. The colour options are bright and refreshing. Despite the extremes the jacket was exposed to it remains in excellent condition and looking like new.

I would definitely recommend this product, I was very pleased with its standard of quality and overall value for money.

Overall score : 10/ 10
