  • Presentations from returned volunteers, giving you a personal account of what it's really like to be a health volunteer. To name a few - there'll be Jennifer, who worked as a nurse trainer in Mongolia; Annette, a public health doctor in Tanzania; and you can chat to Karen about her experiences as a physiotherapist in Ethiopia

Meet VSO Evening - Kendal

An opportunity to meet VSO staff and returned volunteers to discover more about the VSO unique people-orientated approach to development. The evening will begin with a 30 minute presentation, which will provide you with background information to VSO and include a 10 minute DVD showing you the many ways in which you can get involved. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end and chat informally with staff and volunteers. read more »
