OutDoor can already use the new A7 exhibition hall in 2008

The contract has been signed! At the headquarters of the European Outdoor Group (EOG) in Seon, Switzerland, both partners - EOG and Messe Friedrichshafen - jointly put to paper the future of OutDoor for another five years. According to this agreement, the European trade show will be held in Friedrichshafen at least until the year 2013. During a secret ballot in January, 2008, the majority of the 47 EOG members voted in favour of the venue at Friedrichshafen. read more »

First Woman Solo and Unsupported to Geographical North Pole

In December 2006, 33 year old Hannah McKeand set a new World Record of 39 days, 9 hours and 33 minutes for the solo and unsupported journey from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole. Now she is preparing to take on the ultimate endurance event – a solo and unsupported trek to the geographical North Pole. If successful she will become only the second person ever, and the first woman to have completed such an awesome undertaking. read more »

Premiere Winter Climb of Broad Peak
